Within my work I explore the creation of a new language between plant sourced food from the earth and the body, dressing the body as a form of reclamation and empowerment. I am interested in exploring themes of ephemerality, and the innate fascination we have with death and decay, exploiting ambiguity by using double entrendre materials, and seeing how they effect and restrict movements when placed on the body. Constantly following my environment as I become intrigued by new materials to reform and place back on the body, and into nature, allowing for a reclamation of the body.
